All of our mixers have been designed with a special safety feature to make sure you or your loved ones cannot get scalded in the shower. This is even more important when children are present in the household because their skin is far more sensitive than adult’s.
 
Metallic faucets are really good at conducting heat to it’s surface with a very little heat loss. This will cause the left side of the mixer where the hot water connection is present to heat up to unsafe temperature above 50°C (122°F).
 
It should be noted that even if the temperature of the mixed water at the outlet is in safe limits of 35-38°C (95-122°F), this elevated outside temperatures are attained in metallic mixers.
 
Our mixers are insulated to prevent this occurrence and will stay over two times cooler than metallic mixers. Even if your hot water heater is set to a high of 85°C (185°F), the outside temperature of our mixers’ left side will stay below safe limit of 38°C (122°F) keeping you safe from scalding.
